PLANK PREPARATION


  1. Soak the PLANK in water for at least 4 hours before use.
  2. Preheat grill to Medium.
  3. Brush one side of PLANK with vegetable oil using a pastry brush to prevent food from sticking.
  4. Top oiled-side with meat, fish, poultry or vegetables and place on center of grill grate.
  5. Close lid and grill to desired doneness.
  6. Check occasionally for any “flare ups;” if necessary, spritz any flames with a water bottle.
  7. Brush food with BBQ sauce or marinade during last 20 minutes of grill time.
  8. When done, remove food from PLANK and turn grill off.  Let PLANK cool on grill grate before removing. Dispose of PLANK when cooled.
